EXPERIENCE

Stoutenborough, Inc., founded in 1992, is led by J Todd Stoutenborough.  A licensed architect in multiple states and accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Mr. Stoutenborough offers clients more than three decades of architectural experience.  Todd graduated from California State Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo, where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree.  He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and also is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Mr. Stoutenborough’s project experience includes:

Downtown Kihei, Kihei, HI (35+ acres)
A new “main street” sustainable downtown master plan for the city of Kihei between the beach and the Pi’lani Highway.  The project includes 100 dwelling units, and over 350,000 sf of retail, restaurants, entertainment and office.  The site creates a walkable streetscape and incorporates local wetlands into the landscaping program for the Krausz Co, San Francisco, CA.

Sears Olympic and Soto, Los Angeles, CA (1,800,000 sf)
Renovation of the Sears store at the landmark Sears and Roebuck distribution center in East Los Angeles.  Explore conceptual designs to incorporate various mixed-uses into the 1.8 million sf complex, such as offices, retail, restaurants, and residential.

Bridgeport Village, Tualatin, OR (501,000 sf)
An urban lifestyle, retail, entertainment center for Opus NW and CenterCal Properties, LLC.
